Abstract

Nancy Blake, PhD, RN, CCRN, NEA-BC, FACHE, FAONL, FAAN, is the Chief Nursing Officer at Los Angeles General Medical Center, one of the largest and most complex public hospitals in the U.S. She served as a national board member for the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (2003–2006) and is a sought-after speaker on healthy work environments and staffing challenges. Nancy coedited Nursing Management of Pediatric Disaster and is an Associate Adjunct Professor at UCLA School of Nursing. In 2021, she received the DAISY Health Equity Grant for her research on vaccine acceptance. Nancy is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, and the American Academy of Nursing.
