Abstract
Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) is a severe adverse cutaneous reaction characterized by the rapid development of nonfollicular sterile pustules on an erythematous base. AGEP is drug induced in 90% of cases but has been associated with viral infections. This report describes a rare case of AGEP induced by parvovirus B19 infection in a pediatric patient.
