Abstract

Background

Mucoepidermoid carcinoma (MEC) is the most common malignant salivary gland tumor that inflicts the population even with the development of treatments.

Methods

In this letter, we used SEER to investigate the prevalence of MEC in the oral cavity, lip, and pharynx within the U.S. population to contribute to this movement.

Results
