Abstract
This work investigates the Landau quantization of a spin- particle using the Pauli equation in the presence of a cosmic string. Due to the coupling of spin with the magnetic field, the radial differential equations for the two components of the Pauli spinor differ. Consequently, the upper and lower components of the spinor are distinct yet yield the same quantized energy spectrum with spin corrections. We perform a graphical analysis of the eigenenergies and radial probability density, considering a cosmic string modeled both with and without an internal structure.
