Abstract
A catalytic enantioselective ring-opening strategy enables the development of unique planar chiral ferrocenes with chiral aminoalcohols. In their Research Article (e202502299), Ken Kamikawa et al. present the simultaneous induction of two central chiralities and planar chirality in ferrocenes. The cover image showcases the highly enantioselective synthesis of chiral ferrocenes induced by planar chiral cyclopentadienyl manganese ligands. The origin of asymmetry was elucidated through density functional calculations.
