Abstract
Chemically deposited nickel coatings have a long history, and recently new directions of application of such technologies have emerged. Due to the development of production of various reducing agents, additives, and composites, it became possible to produce multicomponent nickel coatings containing both a metal and a nonmetal. This makes it possible to manufacture multicomponent alloys with various functional properties for various industries. The presented material is a brief overview of the main types of such coatings, their properties, and possible applications.
