Their safety profile, biocompatibility, and bioactivity make them particularly appealing for wound care. In this article, we will delve into the intricacies of wound healing and then discuss the wound-healing properties of chitosan nanoparticles, supported by comprehensive study results. Current evidence highlights the wound-healing effects of chitosan nanoparticles, which can be considered independent agents for wound management.
