Additionally, we discuss the potential applications of targeting lactate metabolism and lactylation modifications in the treatment of psoriasis, alongside the investigation of artificial intelligence applications in advancing lactate and lactylation-focused drug development, identifying therapeutic targets, and enabling personalized medical decision-making. The significance of this review lies in its comprehensive exploration of how lactate and lactylation contribute to immune dysregulation, offering a novel perspective for understanding the metabolic and epigenetic changes associated with psoriasis.
