Abstract
We present the iterative block decision-feedback equalizer aimed at overcoming channel’s frequency and time selectivity in single-carrier block transmission systems.The algorithm features circularly banded feedforward and feedback filters to combat the inter-symbol and inter-carrier interference, while achieving a reduced computational complexity. Simulation results demonstrate the efficacy of the algorithm.
