Abstract

The isolated left subclavian artery is a rare congenital variation of the vascular structure. Herein, we report the case of a 10-year-old boy with a rare isolated left subclavian artery. The left subclavian artery evolved from stenosis to atresia, resulting in subclavian steal syndrome. In our case, the combination of echocardiography and computed tomography angiography provided a comprehensive assessment of the cardiovascular malformations, considered necessary for a definitive diagnosis.
