Abstract
The paper focuses on electrophysical properties of ferrofluids based on kerosene and synthetic oil with iron oxides. The influence of multi-walled carbon nanotubes on shielding properties of ferrofluids is studied at different magnetic field orientations relative to electromagnetic field lines. Reflection coefficient spectra are obtained at the microwave frequency using mathematical simulation. This work shows the possibility of using ferrofluids to solve health and safety problems.
