The modified sensor shows greater stability, selectivity, reproducibility with low limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) of 0.07 µmol L<sup>−1</sup> and 0.25 µmol L<sup>−1</sup>, respectively with the linear range of 1.0 × 10<sup>−</sup><sup><sup>6</sup></sup> to 1.50 × 10<sup>−4</sup> mol L<sup>−1</sup> and sensor mechanism was found to be diffusion-controlled phenomena. Abstract

A novel Cerium – Magnesium terephthalate frameworks (Ce-Mg TPFs) was synthesized by facile hydrothermal method and characterized by microscopic and spectroscopic techniques.
