The purpose of this study was to respond to the call for additional research in this area and the development of a longer, reliable scale to measure creative self-efficacy. The authors of this study present findings that support the validity and reliability of the creative self-efficacy scale developed and examined in this study. Exploratory and confirmatory analyses were conducted and supported a single factor structure of creative self-efficacy. A set of 20 items that all had pattern coefficients greater than 0.61 with the single factor were retained to create the final version of the creative self-efficacy scale.
