Abstract
The asymmetric ε-regioselective conjugate addition of 2-furfuryl ketones to nitroalkenes using a pyrrolidine–thiourea organocatalyst yielded ε-regioselective addition products in high yields with high enantioselectivities. This work represents the first example of asymmetric ε-regioselective conjugate addition of 2-furfuryl ketones to nitroalkenes.
