Abstract
New 5H-[1,3]dioxolo[4,5-f]indole derivatives were synthesized in good yields were synthesized by a one-pot, three-component reaction of benzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-amine, arylglyoxals, and 4-hydroxyquinolin-2(1H)-one in the presence of acetic acid as a catalyst in an ethanol medium under reflux.
