Abstract
A series of 1,3-disubstituted ureas containing a 4-(hydroxyadamantan-1-yl)-fragment were synthesized in yields of 55–87% by the reaction of 1-(4-oxoadamantan-1-yl)-3-(halophenyl)ureas with sodium borohydride . The synthesized ureas are potential metabolites and promising soluble human epoxide hydrolase inhibitors.
