Some statistical properties of the proposed <em>EGTLED</em> are studied. The maximum likelihood estimation (<em>MLE</em>) approach is used to estimate the parameters of the <em>EGTLED</em>. A simulation is also studied to see the performance of the method of estimation. Finally, two real data applications related to radiation and engineering sciences are also done. Abstract
In this article, a four parameter distribution is proposed which is known as exponentiated generalized Topp Leone – exponential distribution (EGTLED). Some statistical properties of the proposed EGTLED are studied. The maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) approach is used to estimate the parameters of the EGTLED.
