Abstract

Dr. Rudy Jackson has served as the Chief Nurse Executive and Senior Vice President of the University of Wisconsin Health System since August 2020. He is an experienced nurse leader with broad knowledge of large integrated academic health systems and a successful history of improving nursing outcomes, engagement, and hospital operational performance. Prior to his current position, Rudy served as the Chief Nursing Officer for Buffalo General Hospital and the Gates Vascular Institute in Buffalo. He has also held leadership roles at the University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, and has over 20 years of US Army experience.
