Abstract
An intense, microwave-driven plasma is triggered and sustained with carbon nanotubes made directly from CO2. Purification is one of many prospective energy applications. Self-purification of molten carbonate split CO2 synthesized CNTs is 100× quicker, consumes 10× less power, and produces higher purity than with conventional plasma treatment.
