Studies show that appropriate exercise not only promotes overall health, but also positively impacts KOA by stimulating exerkine production. The effectiveness of exerkines, however, is influenced by exercise modality, intensity, and duration of exercise, making the development of personalized exercise plans crucial for KOA patients.
