This review focuses on the pathophysiology, incidence, and management of cerebrovascular complications following TAVR. We explore the mechanisms leading to these events, including embolization of debris from the calcified valve and aortic arch, and the role of procedural factors. The review also discusses the timing of cerebrovascular events, diagnostic approaches, and potential preventive strategies, including embolic protection devices.
