Abstract
Fritillaria crassicaulis S.C. Chen. (Liliaceae) is collected for the first time from Nagaland, India. This species so far is known from South-Central China and Nepal. A detailed description along with field photograph, illustration, and key to Indian species of Fritillaria is provided for easy identification in the field. We also designate lectotypification for the name, Fritillaria crassicaulis S.C. Chen.
