We validated the practical application of this LAMP assay for diagnosing infections in citrus leaves and strawberry crowns. The phytopathogenic oomycete Phytopythium helicoides, previously known as Pythium helicoides, has emerged as a new threat to the Shatangju citrus cultivar (Citrus reticulata cv.
