LARCs include intrauterine devices (copper- or levonorgestrel-releasing) and subcutaneous implants. For LARCs application a dedicated training is needed. Particularly, this Expert Opinion is aiming to open to expert debates on the subcutaneous implant, in particular etonogestrel (ENG)-releasing one, as a cutting-edge form of hormonal contraception. Abstract
