Consequently, new oligocationic polymers have been obtained. The simplicity of our proposed synthesis method, which involves the use of readily available reagents, enables the automation of this process to obtain oligocationic monomers of varying lengths. Abstract
The synthesis of amides of acrylic acid with oligo[1,4-piperidines] (1) has resulted in the development of compounds containing both easily polymerizable groups and ionogenic groups in the form of tertiary amino groups, which can be protonated in acidic aqueous media. Consequently, new oligocationic polymers have been obtained.
