Abstract

This study presents an experimental investigation of turbulent flow characteristics within a wind-tunnel environment. A methodology was developed to analyze the parameters and characteristics of the turbulent flow in the wind tunnel’s test section. This methodology encompasses the determination of the reproducible range of air velocity, airflow velocity instability, nonuniformity of the airflow velocity field. The findings from the velocity field analysis demonstrate the feasibility of conducting aerodynamic tests on models subjected to a uniform flow within the wind tunnel.
