Abstract
Abstract: Synovial herniation pit, also known as Pitt's pit, is a benign osseous lesion incidentally seen on imaging studies. Most of them will not show FDG uptake, but some herniation pits could show intense FDG uptake on PET/CT scans mimicking osseous metastasis. Here we report a case of synovial herniation pit in a patient with T-cell lymphoma through 8-year trajectory of FDG PET/CT scans, revealing its changing FDG uptake in relation to chemotherapy and final outcome.
