Suicidal ideation and suicide attempts were the main reasons for admission, with drug overdose being the most common method. The main diagnoses at discharge were mixed emotions and behavior disorder onset in childhood and adolescence, and adaptive disorder. The majority had a history of mental health problems. The suicidal behavior among adolescents has shown a significant increase in the last decade, according to a study by the ANAR Foundation.
