Testing of the prototype showed that it is capable of etecting sparks at a distance of 1000 mm within an angular range of ± 18° with an angular resolution of 3°. Abstract

Through numerical modeling of the optical part of the developed position-sensitive fiber-optic spark sensor with a spectral radiation converter, it was demonstrated that the sensor’s angular resolution in the range of ±18° is 3°.
