Second method is an HPTLC method on HPTLC silica plates using ethyl acetate: ethanol (75%): ammonia (5:5:0.05 v/v) mobile phase followed by densitometric scanning at 230 nm. The methods were applied successfully for analysis of VON and ASP mixture in laboratory-prepared tablets and the methods were validated in regards to linearity, precision, accuracy and selectivity.
