In WW female prawn, a final contig assembly of 3333.31 Mb with a N50 length of 1,143,555 bp was obtained. The assembled genome sequences from prawns were anchored to 59 chromosomes. Moreover, the sex chromosomes including W chromosome and Z chromosome were generated in prawn with the length of 36.23 Mb and 27.33 Mb, respectively. The sequence similarity of Z chromosome and W chromosome reached to 74.90%.
