Abstract

Following the publication of La Familia Grande in early January 2021, a book in which Camille Kouchner recounts the incest suffered by her brother, a wave of testimonies broke out on social networks under the #MeTooInceste tagline. On January 23, 2021 the President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, made a commitment to victims of incest by creating the Independent Commission on Incest and Sexual Violence Against Children (CIIVISE). The commission's mission was to gather testimonies from incest victims and make recommendations to improve the identification and care of victims of intra-family sexual violence.
