Participants included twenty-five female NICU registered nurses with varying levels of experience. The focus was on nurses caring for preterm infants that were 35 weeks or less. Electronic medical record data indicated compliance with developmental positioning for the target population. A postimplementation survey indicated participants supported use of nurse champions to implement change.
