In this chapter, there were sufficient reports to make comparisons between the models in terms of pathophysiology, behavioral dysfunction, and the efficacy of therapeutic interventions. The models used to date include controlled cortical impact (CCI), weight drop, fluid percussion, and abusive head trauma.
