Abstract
We present a universal method for synthesizing a range of pure-phase IB-group Sn-based alloy catalysts (Cu3Sn, Ag4Sn, and AuSn) for electrochemical reduction of CO2 to C1 product. The selectivity can be widely adjusted based on the change in metal composition and applied potential. This study contribute to a better understanding of the structure-activity relationship between components and properties in various Sn-based alloys.
