Concurrently, it introduces the seismic performance of building structures integrated with response-amplification dampers. To enable full determination of the energy dissipation capacities of dampers based on the seismic design method, this paper elaborates on methods of optimizing the parameters, quantity, and layouts of response amplification dampers. The latest research progress, shortcomings, and prospects are analyzed and summarized. Abstract

A state-of-the-art review is presented on the design and research based on response amplification dampers.
