Abstract

The optical scheme of the channel based on quadrupole lenses for neutrino beam formation at the accelerator complex U-70 is considered. A dual-magnet system with a field lens and full dispersion compensation is proposed to extract the required momentum interval of \(\pi\) mesons. In this optical scheme, the decay part of the channel is rotated relative to the direction of the primary proton beam to the target.
