Abstract

The lymphatic system functions in fluid homeostasis, lipid absorption and the modulation of the immune response. The role of Gpnmb (osteoactivin), an established osteoinductive molecule with newly identified anti-inflammatory properties, has not been studied in lymphangiogenesis.
