Phototransistors with a p–n heterojunction configuration have been fabricated with (<em>S</em>,<em>S</em>)/(<em>R</em>,<em>R</em>)-DPBNA serving as the p-type photoactive layer and an achiral n-type polymer as the electron transport layer.
