Overall, endophyte infection had no consistent effect on the drought response of tall fescue. Abstract

The response of tall fescue [Schedonorus arundinaceus (Schreb.) Dumort.], infected with fungal endophytes, and subjected to drought stress has varied, presumably due to variability in host–endophyte associations.
