Abstract

This article examines international jurisdiction in the resolution of contractual disputes involving Video-Sharing Platforms (VSP). It situates VSPs within the broader context defined by the Audio-visual Media Services Directive and identifies areas of litigation. The article discusses specific cases where national courts have resolved conflicts related to VSPs and sheds light onto the application of contractual and consumer forums under Regulation 1215/2012.
