This review showcases the syntheses of diverse sulfur heterocycles embedded with amino acid derivatives, polycycles, spirocycles, cyclophanes, and other complex scaffolds. The reported methods extend beyond compound synthesis and highlight the use of different sulfur reagents for constructing sulfur heterocycles.
