Canny operator is used as a tool to detect the contour features of parts, and the Canny operator is accelerated and improved from the aspects of mathematical reasoning and Gaussian pyramid. A synchronous external trigger circuit for a binocular camera and light source was designed. Finally, the improved algorithms in various aspects of visual measurement in this paper are applied to the measurement system. Abstract
