The findings emphasize the importance of past experiences and resource availability in enhancing public participation, while communication strategies and educational programs significantly influence these factors. By highlighting the complex interactions between these determinants, this study provides actionable insights for improving emergency response efficiency and fostering community resilience. Abstract
This study employs the intuitionistic linguistic DEMATEL method to identify the key determinants of public participation in community emergency preparedness in China.
