Abstract

Defect-Free Nanowelding

The anisotropic lubricity between two-dimensional semiconducting tin selenide nanoplates and a graphene substrate enables the motion of nanoplates strictly along the zigzag direction of graphene. A subsequential in situ annealing welds the nanoplates together and yields defect-free interfaces. More details can be found in article number 2312199 by Salvador Barraza-Lopez, Stuart S. P.
