This paradigm shift, characterized by significant advances in targeted therapies and gene editing, emphasizes the critical role of integrating academic research - and academic researchers - within industry settings. Contemporary innovation models are moving beyond traditional, corporation-centered frameworks, adopting more open, collaborative approaches.
