Abstract

This letter proposes an integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) beamforming method that senses multiple moving targets while simultaneously communicating with multiple user equipment (UE). The radar estimation rate is combined with the communication achievable rate to assess ISAC system performance. Semidefinite relaxation (SDR) and successive convex approximation (SCA) are used to handle the non-convex rank constraint and convexify the objective function, respectively.
