Abstract

Catalytic coal gasification is a promising technology in the field of clean coal utilization. A comprehensive understanding of mechanisms, reaction kinetic, and reactor model is crucial. This article summarizes and analyzes the catalytic mechanisms of key reactions, such as C–O2, C–CO2, C–H2O, and CO–H2. It also compares various kinetic models, including shrinking core model, random pore model, volume model and their respective modifications.
