Abstract
The paper presents a numerical analytic solution for the calculation of settlement and long-term bearing capacity of a circular foundation on an elastic–viscoplastic base. The work is a development of the previously obtained solution [1] in the elastic–plastic formulation. The Kelvin–Voigt model was used to calculate the volume component of deformation.
