This paper focuses on the housing problems of new residents and young people in Shenzhen, one of the four first-tier cities in China: high prices, poor rental system and insufficient land supply, analyzes the necessity and importance of the study, and gives four major suggestions from the government's macroscopic point of view: insisting on rejecting property speculation, perfecting the rental system, giving full play to the role of the housing fund and encouraging diversified housing supply. Abstract
